No One’s Little Bam Bam is an animated video and mashup remix created with Audacity, Ableton and Premiere Pro, blending elements from Sister Nancy’s 1982 hit, Bam Bam and No One’s Little Girl by The Raincoats. The work uses glitch techniques, digital collage, and astrological interpretation, to explore how cosmic frequencies echo through music, race, and gender. Part of my ongoing Astral Records series, this project highlights the adaptability and expansive possibilities of the series.
The animation was presented in an Airstream camper van as part of LumenFest 2023, through the Student Art Innovation Lab (S.A.I.L.) at the University of Waterloo’s Faculty of Arts.
